Since graduation naman at uso 'to, meron din akong pathank you sa mga tao, in English. Here it goes...
I've thought of writing a really lengthy post of gratitude after graduation, but now that this moment has come, I held back. It really is a difficult task to communicate all the gratitude that I feel for this university. UP provided me with so much experience that a single post would never be able to summarize.
So for now, let me just enumerate all the groups of people that I have held dearly all throughout my college life - my high school friends, my freshie blockmates, UP College of Science Student Council 2013-2014, UP Children's Rights Advocates League, my home organization, UP Chemical Society, to whom I owe a separate post of gratitude, my 12A batchmates, ExeComm 2014-2015, the Institute of Chemistry as a whole, all of my professors - the ones who stood out in my memory, whether in a good or bad way, Dr. Malou McGlone, Ate Mary and the rest of the Chemical Oce lab of MSI, and most especially to my parents, to whom I owe my life and education. Much of the lessons that would occupy the brightest spots of my being were learned outside classrooms, to which all of these people contributed to. With that, I thank all of you.
Up until now I won't be able to say that I chose the right starting coordinates to jumpstart my career, but there is one other thing aside from experience that I thank UP for - that is providing me with some sense of nationalism and idealism which I hope I'd be able to carry for as long as I can. Cruel realities of life will definitely be there at the onset of all of our careers, but I hope, at least with us, Class of 2015, the university has imparted enough confidence and strength for us to actually make a difference.
'Yun lang. Daming paseryosong keme. Cheers!

"Eventually I hope you find yourself in a field you will be happy with, whether this be marine or environmental science, or some other discipline. What is important is that you go find your dreams and make a difference."
Hi Dr. McGlone! This just summarizes everything I am wishing for my future.
I am definitely unsure whether I chose the right starting coordinates for my post-college career, but all the uncertainties that lie ahead makes my future journey all the more exciting. Good luck, self. :)
